The 15th edition of the India Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to begin in the last week of March 2022. The T20 league, on the other hand, will coincide with Australia's upcoming cricket tour of Pakistan, which begins on March 3. Australian national selector George Bailey has stated that IPL-bound players will be permitted to return home in the middle of the series before flying to India to compete in the mega event.
